Book Tour: Catching Keira—A Witch’s Destiny 1 by @RebeccaAiries

Her destiny comes with blades and fangs.

Catching Keira is a re-release. It has been heavily edited and retitled.

Her goal: reclaim an amulet and go home

Keira A’Darcin doesn’t need distractions. An encounter with gorgeous, dragon warrior Rath  tempts her to put aside her worries and enjoy a night in his arms. When morning comes, duty leads her away from him. As she continues on her journey, danger forces her to claim a pair of ancient weapons, changing her life.

Rath hunts the dark sorcerer targeting cities under dragon protection. His search leads him to a trap and then to Keira. Intense attraction burns between him and the sexy witch. Every touch makes him wonder if she’s the one for him and Damon?

In the last few weeks, vampire Damon Ro’Teir has helped rebuild cities and fought battles. He hadn’t expected to find their witch-mate in the middle of the chaos. Now that  he has, he isn’t letting her go.  Keira’s fierce, strong, passionate, and more than a match for him and Rath.

Although the desire grows hot between them, their enemy grows stronger. Witch, dragon, and vampire, they’ll have to work together to defeat an enemy determined to claim the power Keira now holds.

Keira’s eyes snapped open and she jerked forward. A hot lancing ache sliced through her neck where Rath’s teeth still dug into her flesh. She winced and froze. A dark-haired man wearing a long, flowing silver cloak stood at the end of the street. A huge merdanon waited beside him. She took a deep breath. That minion was going to die.
It had to be a minion, a lesser Dark Sorcerer. No Dark Sorcerer had ever spoken of themselves as if they were another person.
She cocked her head. Either that was a tall merdanon or the sorcerer was short. And younger than most Dark Sorcerers. She shook her head. His age didn’t matter. He was part of this destruction. He wore a deep red shirt and red pants. She shook her head. Was red supposed to be Gelain’s color?
Rath’s mouth worked at her neck for a little longer. He swallowed, but still there wasn’t the same drawing pull as with Damon. His tongue laved over the four punctures. The heat hit another high. Not from magic this time. She shivered and gulped. He finished. They should get to work. She tried to step away. He tugged her back against his chest.
“I’d never give you up to him.” His lips brushed against the shell of her ear.
“As if I’d walk over to him even if you did. Let’s deal with this minion and get on with clearing the city. I would like to eventually get back to sleep tonight.” She straightened.
The black-haired sorcerer stood at the end of the street, waiting. Did he expect Rath to urge her to go? Who had he dealt with in the past?
Tremors ran down her body and icy cold crept through her. Someone handed a witch to him at some point. Her fingers tightened on the sword. Oh, Lady. The Master Dark Sorcerer Gelain had at least one witch in his stronghold.
He couldn’t take power like a dragon or vampire would, but there were spells to leech power from a witch or wizard into a crystal. Any sorcerer could use the crystal to power large spells. She rolled her shoulders. They had to find him and make sure he couldn’t hurt anyone else.
“We have to stop him.” She glanced back at Rath, before facing the damn minion.
The Dark Sorcerer at the end of the street stepped forward. He was merely a follower. Before the night was finished, he wouldn’t be a problem. They needed to stop the master.
A black mist formed. It swirled and opened. Damon stepped out. Her throat tightened and her heart hammered against her chest. He was outside her shield. She raised her hand. Before she could extend her shield, he walked forward.
“I agree. He definitely won’t be going back to his master.” Damon neared her shield, but didn’t slow. He walked right through it and stopped beside them.
Keira blinked and gasped. How had he strolled through her shields? No magic should have been able to pass through them. She shook her head. Ask about it later. Work now.
“I called for you over five merdanons ago.” Keira narrowed her eyes. “Where were you?”
“I knew Rath had arrived. The feel of his magic is unmistakable. Since he was here, I stayed where I was needed until others arrived to help.” His hand brushed over her cheek.
She shook her head. Chat time was over. The Dark Sorcerer drew himself to his full height.
Flipping his cloak back over his shoulder, the sorcerer raised his hands. An energy orb flared between his palms. “If you don’t give the witch to me, I’ll take her from you after you’re dead. It won’t matter if she’s a little singed.”

Excerpt - Heat Level PG13
Archer hooked an arm around Leslie as he walked her out of the Wild Beat. The girls’ night had finally broken up, and the others started to go home. They’d finally been able to coax their mate out of the bar. Not that the night had been bad.
Talking with Jason and Tony had been great, and dancing with Leslie had made his evening. During the night, her muscles had relaxed, and now a soft smile curved his mate’s mouth. The time with her friends and telling them everything she’d been keeping to herself had lifted a weight off her.
Apparently, it had been quite a night. The women had laughed and drank. None of them came away drunk, but the liquor had relaxed them. They’d also stayed much longer than he expected.
Other people slowly made their way across the parking lot, as well. Cars started and pulled out. People piled into taxis, and the vehicles pulled out of the parking lot. His gaze moved over anyone close to them. Probably a little paranoia, but she was too important to risk.
They stepped into the shadows between the wide circle from the parking lot lights. His muscles tensed, and his heartbeat pounded. When they stepped out into the glowing light, he rolled his shoulders. Get control.
They strolled across the parking lot. The low hum of a motor broke the near silence. Archer turned his head. No bright lights flared, not even the red glow of the brake lights.
“How about we stop for some ice cream on the way home?” Leslie tugged at his hand.
“Sounds good. It will have to be a store. I’m pretty sure that all the restaurants and shops are closed by now.” Judge glanced back at her.
She grinned. “A little carton or two of ice cream suits me.”
“We can get you a couple of those and me the ingredients for a jumbo banana split.” Judge aimed for their car.
Archer mouth watered. Bananas, chocolate, strawberries, and nuts. Yum. He nodded. Maybe they could alter the plans a little. Smearing some of the ingredients from that sweet treat on Leslie and licking it off her might make it even better.
She’d go wild as they cleaned fudge off her with their mouths. Hell, he might leave the ice cream at the store and simply get the fudge, whip cream, and bananas. The creamy whipped topping, sweet fruit, and thick fudge would taste even better with the salty tang of her skin. Driving her wild and feeding his sweet tooth at the same time, such a wonderful combination.
A motor revved. The rumbling sound broke the night. He glanced around and behind them, but nothing moved, and no lights came on.
“What’s your favorite flavor of ice cream, Leslie?” He leaned close to her.
The motor roared again. He glanced behind them. The car was somewhere there. Hair stood on the back of Archer’s neck. Something was wrong.
Tires squealed as they fought for purchase on the asphalt. Fuck. Not good.
“It’s called Double Chocolate Sin and Crunch. It’s chocolate ice crea—” Leslie squeaked. Her voice cut off.
Archer’s arm tightened, and he wrenched her to the side.

Excerpt #4 - Heat Level 4 - Sex scene

“Well, that’s one good thing about being with two men. One has time to recuperate while the other is keeping me busy.” She took a few quick steps forward to walk beside him.

“And this is another.” Isaac said as he came up behind her and scooped her off her feet.

She yelped, pulled her hand away, and grabbed for Isaac’s shoulders, but started laughing. “This is an advantage?”

“Well, not exactly this, Naomi, but having one of us to hold you while the other gives you a little pleasure to make sure you’re as ready as you say you are.” Isaac strode forward and stopped in front of the couch.

Isaac began stripping her out of her clothes. Her shirt went flying, followed by the jeans she wore. Neil took off his shirt, but he didn’t bother to look down at the buttons. He kept his eyes on the sweet flesh being revealed by Isaac’s agile hands.

“I thought you couldn’t handle my squirming and rubbing.” She stared at Isaac.

“I can’t let him have all the fun right now.” Isaac sat down on the couch and pulled her into his lap. “Besides, I’ll enjoy his torment and watch you ride Neil. I know he’ll be in exactly the same position when he helps get you ready for my touch.”

Neil watched as Isaac draped her legs over his thighs and then opened his legs. Neil stared at the pink glistening skin revealed to him. He licked his lips as he thought about tasting her sweet cream.

He couldn’t wait to taste her essence. Already, he could smell the light scent of nutmeg and knew the flavor would burst over his tongue, along with the creamy taste of her desire. He’d never smelled anything more intoxicating.

He knelt and leaned forward bracing his hands on the couch on either side of Isaac’s thighs. Naomi’s legs tightened. He didn’t know if anticipation pulsed through her or if she wanted to tease him a little. He wouldn’t mind her burning in anticipation, but teasing was out of the question when her desire had set fire to them.

He had to make sure that her desire flared hot enough to send her over with them. He wouldn’t leave her wanting. She’d come with him and then with Isaac. After that, if she had too much energy, they’d take her into the bedroom and start all over again. He didn’t mind giving his full attention to this task over and over again.

“I see your juices, baby. I can’t wait to lick them up and work my tongue over your clit.” He leaned in and placed a kiss on her thighs.

“Well, you’d better start or I’ll have to wrestle out of Isaac’s arms, because all this waiting is aggravating me. I don’t deal well with torment.” She frowned down at him.

“Not very good with patience are you?” He knew she had a lot of patience in certain situations, but delayed satisfaction apparently wasn’t one of them.

She bared her teeth at him. Looking up at her, he bared his, showing her the lengthened canines. He focused on the sweet pussy waiting for his attention. He swiped his tongue over the lips. The taste of nutmeg and cream burst over his taste buds.

With a firm grip on her thighs, he leaned in closer. He swiped his tongue up from her entrance over her clit. Her hands clasped his hair, pulling him toward her pussy.
