If she can see evil, can evil see her? THROUGH HIS EYES by @AuthorDebCamp #Romantic #Suspense

Someone is stalking women and murdering them in Key West.

Psychics Levi Wolfe and Trudy Tucker join forces to help identify the murderer and stop him. Levi can channel the deceased victims and Trudy can tap into the mind of the killer. As a psychic detective team, they’re formidable. As lovers, they discover that they’re insatiable.

As they grow closer, Trudy wonders if Levi will ever completely trust her and let her know his heart. Levi struggles with his new, tender feelings toward Trudy and worries that she might be in over her head with him and with the case they’re working on.

Because if Trudy can see through the killer’s eyes, can the killer see her?

Character Interview
Name: Leviticus (Levi) Wolfe
Gender: Male
Age: 30
Profession: Psychic and business owner (construction/renovation/restoration), best-selling author
Do you have any special skills or training? I’m a well-known and sought-after psychic who has worked with various law enforcement agencies to identify serial killers and murderers. I’ve written two best-selling books about high-profile cases I’ve helped solve. I have a master’s degree in psychology and a degree from the Arthur Findlay College for the Advancement of Spiritualism and Psychic Sciences in Essex, England.
How would you describe yourself? Ambitious, driven, and challenging.
Who is your significant other(s)? Trudy Tucker
How would they describe you? Stubborn, bossy, and totally under her spell.
Tell us about your family. I’ll pass on that. It’s too dark and demented to go into here and I only discuss it with my psychiatrist and Trudy.
What do you think was left unsettled in your story? Quite a bit, actually, which is why it takes more than one book.
If you could change anything about your story what would it be? I would have told Trudy that I adored her the moment we were alone together because my heart knew I belonged to her even then.

#NewRelease: Fractured Fantasies: Vol. 2 by Torie James @Writergurl216 #PNR #Romance @13_below

In the burning lands of rapturous fulfillment and unrequited desire, one false step can lead down the path towards delicious destruction. Impassioned appeals, sinful seductions and fevered longings can often hide degrees of twisted tenderness but don’t be fooled. Not all prisons have bars, silence can be deadly and even the sweetest face conceals monstrous insanity. Tread lightly, choose well or find sexual satisfaction at the dead end of one-way street.
Book One | The Factory
A glittering citadel born from blood money and power tripping provides the perfect stage for its mysterious owner and his young, dazzling wife. Before the final act is called and the curtain falls, they’ll both be tested to the limits of their personal, moral compasses. And neither of theirs point true north.
Book Two | Nevermore
Newlyweds on a romantic, Spanish honeymoon find themselves battling against stereotypes after a short engagement leads to a much longer commitment. In the shadows of infatuation, however, lay the groundwork for a cruel coupling that even death cannot part.
Book Three | The Nomad
In a post-apocalyptic, dystopian future, one young warrior woman travels the world in search of help against The Great Evil. When her travels take her far underground to the lair of the last great Champion, she finds duty mixing with desire and a tender temptation that threatens her mission.

Excerpt (Pg-13):
The Maestro indulged her every whim and his own. He took to spending more and more time in her company, eschewing the company of his colleagues and female companionship. He adored her and she idolized him, knowing he could give her the life she dreamed of.
The Mobster and His Maeve.
Sometimes, during dinner, she'd look up and see sadness etched over his sharp features and it made her heart hurt for him, but he'd never answer when she asked what was wrong.
Then one night, he did.
"You're growing up, Maeve. You'll be leaving soon and looking for a nice young man who'll treat you right. There's a whole big world waiting out there for you. You need to see it, not stay locked up here with an old coot like me."
"You're not an old coot." Her fingers touched his arm, voice breathy and low. "I don't need to see the world. I don't need a nice young man. All I need is you." It was true. She'd decided long ago that someday she'd be his wife. "Please don't send me away."
The Maestro laid his hand over her own, long tapered fingers sliding between hers and squeezing gently. "I'd never send you away, Maeve. But there may come a day you'll want to leave."
Staring into his ebony eyes, she shook her head solemnly. "Never."
He chuckled at her confident bravado. "We'll see."
He leaned close, the spicy scent of his aftershave filling her head and for the briefest moment, she wondered if he might kiss her. The thought thrilled her, an unfamiliar surge of undefinable emotion causing her heart to slam violently against her ribcage. Her lashes fluttered down, chin tilting up delicately but when his lips touched her skin, it was her forehead that felt the warm, firm brush. That and nothing more.
He married her the day she turned 18.
They exchanged vows in the wedding chapel on the 13th floor of The Factory.
The bride wore white.
The dapper groom dressed in Armani's finest. Of course.
"There you go, Maeve. The girl who married me." The cool touch of the silver wedding band he'd slipped on her finger twinkled with a dusting of diamond chips. "Never take it off, sweetheart."
How odd he sounded, a steely command wrapped in pleading but then he kissed her and all other thoughts dissolved under the onslaught of burgeoning desire in the young woman. She'd dreamt of him touching her, making love to her, countless times. She expected fireworks, raging passion and unparalleled bliss.
Instead, her wedding night wavered between boring and frustrated. A few gropes of her breasts, one kiss and three or four furtive thrusts, and it was over. He'd kissed her cheek, rolled over and fell asleep.

Standard Author Interview

Can you tell us a little bit about where you are from? I live in Southern California, literally steps away from Disneyland and about 50 miles from Los Angeles. I can literally sit on my lawn at night and watch the fireworks from the Magic Kingdom.
What inspired you to write your first book? Funnily enough, a rather bad breakup with an ex. I do believe one of the last things he said to me was along the lines of I'd never be a 'real' writer because my writing sucked. Now, some of my nearest and dearest said that was mean. I say it's motivation.
Do you have a specific writing style? In other words, are you a plotter or a pantser? I'm a strange and scary combination of both. I never write in order but rather let the muse decide what mood and scene to tackle. Then I go back and put it all together.
If you had to choose, which writer would you consider a mentor? Anne Rice. Seriously. I fangirl on that woman hardcore.
What book would we find you reading right now? Currently, I am deep into a book by Shelli Rosewarne called Scarlett Legacy.
What was the hardest part of writing your book(s)? Funnily enough, erotica is one of the hardest things for me to write. Which is why I undertook my Fractured Fantasies to begin with. I became comfortable with my paranormal romance and wanted to challenge myself to see if I could switch gears for a bit.
Do you have any advice to offer other writers? Don't quit. Please. I know it's a rough road, full of bumps and detours. It can get ugly and you will feel lost or misunderstood. But if you've got the passion, talent and drive, then you don't give up, don't give in. You get out there and you make the world sit up and take notice.

Torie James Bio and Social Media Links

Born on the planet Gallifrey in the constellation of Kasterborous,Torie is the illegitimate love child of Han Solo and  Daenerys Targaryen. Rescued by Gandalf shortly before her home planet was destroyed in the last days of the Clone Wars, she was raised in relative obscurity by her foster parents, Severus Snape and Pippi Longstocking. At the tender age of 113, she inherited the best little whorehouse in Texas and is rumored to be bringing Sexy Back. A self confessed chocoholic, she's been engaged to Willy Wonka despite gossip surrounding a lifelong affair with Bruce Wayne.

And clearly, she practices delusion on a daily basis.

The truth is, I'm just an overgrown kid with a vivid imagination who loves to write and share my crazy with the world. My future plans include, hopefully, buying a lovely Scottish castle and convincing Queen Elizabeth I that I'd make a fab addition to the Royal Family.

Three years ago, I finally got my 'brave' on and submitted a wee story about true love, honor, friendship and the magic within us all. That story was Timeless Night, the first book in a five book series I've named New Camelot. Since then, I've been lucky enough to have published Timeless Desire (Book 2 of New Camelot), Beauty and The Feast (A New Camelot Thanksgiving Novella) Ties That Bind (The Cloie Chronicles I), Fractured Fantasies (Valentine's Venom), Fractured Fantasies (Volume 1) and coming soon, Fractured Fantasies (Volume Two).
I live in Southern California, a stone's throw from Disneyland, with my family and the most ridiculously spoiled pets anyone could imagine. I wake everyday with the determination to make this life as random, quirky and beautiful as it can be.
