Book Description:

Finding one’s psi-mate is something every Sandarian hopes for, but when Ian Cavacent accidentally starts the bonding process with the Earthling, Dani, he has to fight his desire with every ounce of his being. If the process is completed, it would be both political and financial suicide for Ian and his family.

A natural klutz, Dani somehow always manages to land on her feet and win those mixed martial arts matches she’s so fond of. At home on Cat Island her balance is thrown when bazillionaire Ian takes notice.

Unfortunately some butt-ugly Torog aliens also take notice sending her life spiraling out of control and into Ian’s arms. But Dani isn’t the type of woman to let some alien voodoo decide her future or her mate…no matter how gorgeous the man is or how much pleasure he gives her.

For centuries the Cavacents have mined Earth for a precious element, carnium, while protecting the planet from other alien species.

Thanks to the Torogs, Dani and Ian must flee to Sandaria. As Dani learns to use her newfound psi powers, the empire crumbles around them.

Will their love be strong enough to keep them alive and get them back to Earth?

Waves of pleasure radiated out from his touch. She looked up into his eyes. They truly were the greenest eyes she’d ever seen and as she watched, they began to glow.

Oh, shit. Dani took a slow, shaky breath. She stood in the arms of an alien and this was the point of no return. Did she want to return?

His thumb brushed her lower lip.

The heat in her grew.

Her name was a rumbling growl that reverberated deep inside. She tingled everywhere.

He leaned forward, his mouth brushed her ear. “I’ll leave if you want me to, just say the word.”

He kissed her neck, tentatively, questioningly. The heat of his lips melted any resolve she may have harbored. The thought of him leaving her now, in this state, was unbearable. Aroused on every level, she reached her arms around his neck and pressed against him.

This must be a dream. She moaned as he nipped his way down her neck causing little sparks of pain. Her entire body rippled with the effect. If I wake up now, I’m killing the person responsible.

character interview

Character Name: Dani Stantich

Character Bio: My parents died when I was fifteen and I went to live with my aunt on Cat Island in the Bahamas. She’s cool, but she didn’t know what to do with a teenager so I did my own thing pretty much. Having money helps. I work as a freelance photographer for mags like Vogue and GQ. I’m totally a klutz but I still manage to win my mixed martial arts fights. It wasn’t until I met Ian that I figured out exactly why was able to win. Psi is awesome.

This is me according to Sabine.

Describe yourself what is your worst and best quality?

Like I said earlier, I’m a klutz. Seriously. Walls attack me for no reason what so ever. Random bruises on my body? Always.

My best quality? Geez, I don’t know…My left big toe?

What is the one thing you wish other people knew about you?

Because of my background I tend to feel awkward around families. The Cavacents have been really great in that way. Ian’s mom, Mara, has kind of adopted me.

What is your biggest secret something no one knows about?

I can’t be trusted with Cape Cod Salt and Vinegar potato chips. Seriously, I’ll eat the whole bag if left alone.

What are you most afraid of?

Torogs. They are nasty and I end up covered in their blood and brain matter at one point. I can still smell it.

What do you want more than anything?

A salt and vinegar potato chip.

What is your relationship status?

Happily bonded with my psi-mate Ian.

How would you describe your sense of fashion?

Subtle cool.

How much of a rebel are you?

I’m not a rebel. I just do what I bloody-well please.

What do you consider to be your greatest achievement?

Getting off Sandaria alive and in one piece.

What is your idea of happiness?

Ian. Have you seen him? He’s hot… sigh…

What is your current state of mind?

Given my thoughts above, um, well, you know.

What is your most treasured possession?

Is psi a possession? I’m going to go with yes, so it’s my psi. It really is like having super powers. And I don’t even have to wear spandex.

What is it that you, most dislike?

Aside from Torogs, people that are jerks for no reason.  Like Armond, he can be a real jerk sometimes. He’s not going to read this is he?

Which living person do you, most despise?

Gordat Prayda. He’s the new president of Sandaria and he’s a real putz.

What is your greatest regret?

That my mom and dad aren’t around to see all the cool stuff happening. Aliens and travel to other planets. They would have loved it.

What is the quality you most like in a man?

Intelligence and integrity.

What is the quality you most like in a woman?

Intelligence and independence.

Who is your favorite hero in fiction?

Doctor Who. I really want a tardis.

If you could change one thing about yourself what would it be?

My right big toe.

What is your motto?

You can face fear, or you can feel it. Face it and you get to kick some butt. Feel it and it will eat you alive.
